I went and got some new walking shoes today, spent more then I wanted to but they sure are nice. I had gotten another pair much cheaper at walmart but they came apart after just a few weeks I'm going to return them and hopefully get a new pair,I don't know what happened to the reciet. It's amazing what difference the right shoes make. If I wear the walking shoes I don't have to ice my knee when I get home.
It has been a hot week in the 90 must of the week. Last night I walked or should I say stumbled around in the dark. I almost tripped on broken side walk several times. No more walking in the dark for me! I'm off walking tomorrow but I have to go to a conference all day at THQ and then again on Friday which is a walk day. Then I don't have any more conference events until Monday when we have tours at the Center and Tuesday when I have to go to a luncheon at Navy Pier.
